In V8i, the ProStructures product delivered ProStructures and Rebar folders in the WorkSpace folder alongside the PowerPlatform System, Standards, Projects, and Users folders. The contents of the ProStructures and Rebar folders were customized independently and neither customization was well integrated into the PowerPlatform WorkSpace setup.

The CONNECT Edition Configuration focuses on customization for the organization rather than customization of individual products. The product-specific data for ProStructures has been reorganized for this setup.

• Common data files are delivered under the product in ProStructures\Default.
• The files from a V8i ProStructures Localised subfolder and a Rebar 2D detailing project are part of a ProStructures-extended workspace.
• Empty folders for output are part of a workset.

The CONNECT Edition of ProStructures is also enhanced to use configuration variables to find all folders and files. Approximately 100 new variables were added. Assumptions in the program about folder layout and file names were removed. See Appendix C - Configuration Variables for more information.
